Sue's Sandwich between 4 and 6 pm on Wednesday 28th July, sponsored by the Red Lion on South Green, Southwold, chatted to Keith Hargreaves from Cat Protection about problems with too many kittens and publicised cats in need of a good home. We then chatted to David Tytler, Chairman of Southwold and Dunwich Lifeboat Fundraisers about Lifeboat Week from the lst to 7th August - see our events website for more details of what's going on, including displays on 7th August off Southwold and Dunwich, sandcastle competition and much more. We finished the programme with a chat to Jerrie from the Samaritans - she trains Samaritans as well as being a listener. Sue's Sandwich on Wednesday 4th August between 4 and 6 pm sponsored by the Red Lion on South Green in Southwold, will be talking to local author, John Miller, about his new book, "All them Cornfields and Ballet in the Evening" about his life in Soviet Russia and then to Steve James from Finance Shop about how the post election coalition budget has affected the economy and our investments as well as businesses. Then at around 5.45 we have our story, this week the second part of "Unrequited" written by Kate Cheasman - Kate will be with us to read the story and tell us a bit about herself - she's from the Caboodle Writing Group in Halesworth. At 12noon Connie will be talking to her guest. At 12.30pm the Beach Mission will be in the studio talking about their activities during the next two weeks in Southwold.

After the 1 o;clock news Dominic Knight will be giving us a preview of whats in the Organ this month. and at 1.30pm David Moyse will be continuing the history of reydon and Southwold.

All this and lots of good music, birthdays and dedications.

The Wednesday Supplement on the 4th August from 12noon to 1pm sponsored by The Pit Stop Cafe will have lots of excellent music from Bill this week.
