On Wednesday 15th August Sue chatted to Rev Peter Trendell about Southwold and District Rotary Club  - if you would like to join them you can find out more by phoning Peter on 01502 722962 or find them on Facebook or twitter plus you can Google their website by entering Southwold Rotary. They meet every Thursday evening for dinner, although you can go after the meal. It is £80 pa subscription, which can be paid in instalments, plus the cost of the meal, which includes a raffle!  They will be outside Morrison’s, Pakefield on Saturday 18th August from 8 am to 4 pm asking you to donate dried or tinned food for Hope and Aid Direct which helps the poor in Eastern Europe.

Sue concluded with part 1 of a story "Abducting Aliens" by Helen Casey.


On Wednesday 22nd August Sue will be chatting to Brenda Doy about the Reydon Scarecrow Trail which takes place on the second weekend in September and then Ian Barthorpe from the RSPB will update us on what's going on at Minsmere plus all the usual features, 50/50 competition, Porky Pie and loads of good music.
